This volume of three classic picture books in one, features a plucky and imaginative cat named Zoom, whose search for his mysterious seafaring Uncle Roy leads him to the sea (in Zoom at Sea), to the North Pole (Zoom Away) and to Egypt (Zoom Upstream). In each whimsical story, he is accompanied on his journeys by his friend Maria, whose unusual house magically unlocks the key to his adventures. The North Pole, icy and populated by grebes and seals, is located upstairs, near Maria’s attic, while an exotic, cat-ridden Egypt is tucked away behind her shelf of library books.
